The central Ohio REALTORS® Political Action Committee (CORPAC) was founded in 1994 as a vehicle for Columbus REALTORS® members to support political candidates and issues at the local level, while also supporting the advocacy goals of the state and national REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC).
One hundred percent focused on issues directly impacting real estate, CORPAC financially supports candidates who promote home ownership, private property rights, and issues that are important to the REALTOR® profession and the clients they serve.
Money for CORPAC comes from thousands of REALTOR® members annually, not from dues but voluntary contributions. Prior to support of any candidate, Columbus REALTORS® members elected to represent the membership, conduct thorough review of each candidate’s position on issues of concern to the real estate industry.
Not partisan! Financial contributions to local candidates depend on incumbency, leadership makeup in various cities and localities, and friendliness to issues important to the industry - regardless of party affiliation. While always changing, CORPAC support to candidates of each party has averaged a 50/50 % split since 2010.
The easiest way to help is to voluntarily contribute $30 via your dues billing. In fact as of June 2018, nearly 2,000 Columbus REALTORS® members did just that raising $63,043.50 for CORPAC!

Sixty-Seven percent of all REALTORS® contributions received will be forwarded to Ohio RPAC for use at the state & national levels, the remaining 33% will stay with CORPAC for use at the local level. All non-REALTOR® member contributions will remain with CORPAC for use at the local level.
