POSTPONED: Commercial Ethics
This class is postponed until further notice due to COVID-19. We have residential ethics class scheduled for May 21st. We will monitor on a weekly basis to see if we can hold the class in May. If you need an ethics class before May 21st, we recommend taking a course online.
If you are a non-member and paid a registration fee, you will receive a refund.

*Satisfies the State of Ohio Ethics Course (3-hour course) and the National Association of Realtors ethics requirement for members, due 12/31/2021.
Registration is required by 3/26/2020
Course content will include the difference between ethics and law; industry malpractice' Ohio Canon's of Ethics (dealing with the public, with the client and fellow licensees, an actual example of licensee ethical misconduct and consequences for Ohio Licensees.) There will be time for a question and answer period.
Instructor: Jim Maniace, Partner, Taft Stettinius & Holister, LLP and Columbus Realtors 2013 Commercial Instructor of the year.
Jim's practice blends together advice on all aspects of business and corporate law with a concentration in the real estate, land use and oil and gas areas. In his practice, Jim frequently serves as outside general counsel to companies of all sizes, including closely-held and family owned companies. Jim has handled a variety of complex business and real estate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, debt restructuring and workouts, and sales and exchanges of real property including financing.
