In a 'round robin' style event, each presenter will be allotted 20 minutes.
In a do not miss event, Columbus City Attorney Zach Klein will discuss his work to combat vacant, blihted and abandoned properties along with closing drug and prostitution infested hotels. The City Attorney's work to ensure safe neighborhoods will be highlighted.
Dr. Talisa Dixon, Superintendent of Columbus City Schools will be joined by Board Member Eric Brown to talk about the transformation within the District. A little over six months in, and her first full year as Superintendent, Dr. Dixon will highlight her vision for a prosperous school district in Ohio's largest school system.
Franklin County Engineer Cornell Robertson will highlight what we all use everyday: roads. Infrastructure is a crucial component to a real estate transaction. Water, sewer, roads and so much more, this office is valuable and often underutilized resource for our members.
Lastly, the Ohio Opioid Education Alliance (Denial Ohio Campaign) will discuss what our members can do, yes, we can all get involved to combat the opioid issue in Central Ohio. The statistics are staggering. Columbus REALTORS® recently joined forces with the alliance as a partner. Drug disposal bags will be handed out to attendees as they leave.
There is no charge to attend, but registration is requested.
