The Columbus Board of REALTORS® will host it's annual Affordable Housing Open House on Sunday, April 27, 2014, from 1-4 p.m., where more than 200 homes and condos priced $150,000 and below will be featured.
Prospective homebuyers will have an opportunity to tour the city's strong and vibrant affordably-priced (up to $150,000) housing markets located throughout central Ohio and surrounding counties and to discuss with REALTORS® their specific housing needs.
In addition to the general public, we're focusing our efforts on helping Ohio's Heroes -- policemen, firemen, veterans, nurses, teachers, etc. -- obtain affordable housing in the very communities they serve. Information on financing programs geared specifically to these heroes will be available at each open house. Partnerships with organizations representing our heroes have been established to help promote homeownership and this open house to its members and colleagues.
For those sitting on the fence, there are more than 5,100 affordably-priced homes on the market through the Columbus REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service. This, coupled with steady interest rates, a good inventory of homes and a break in the weather, make now a great time to begin searching for the home of your dreams in the price point that is right for you!
