Planning is underway for our 10th annual REALTOR® Care Day. The main Columbus REALTORS® project will be along the Long Street corridor in the King Lincoln District. Updates and Area Association projects will be posted here in the coming months.

REALTOR® Care Day is an annual event where central Ohio REALTORS®, affiliates, family and friends volunteer their time to show their communities REALTOR® care. With careful planning, preparation and the dedication of many volunteers, it's amazing how much can be accomplished in one day.

REALTOR® Care Day started with one community service project in 2005. Last year, there were 20 groups, 27 projects, and over 400 volunteers! Although REALTORS® donate time and talent to their communities throughout the year, this one day event focuses the energy of hundreds of volunteers in areas all over the central Ohio area.

REALTOR® Care Day is funded through theREALTORS® Charitable Foundation Fund. Area realty associations are offered matching funds (up to $500 each) to help fund their community service efforts for this event. Additional assistance is received from many individuals and companies through in-kind donations of money, goods and services.

20 groups and 27 projects!
Over $27,000 re-invested!
Over 400 volunteers!

Columbus REALTORS®'s 2013 main project included three different projects in Columbus' Hilltop area. Volunteers made improvements to the landscape and playground area of the Columbus Bilingual School (35 Midland Ave.), built a grape arbor at the Highland Youth Garden (67 S. Highland Ave.), and cleaned up the streets in the area.

In addition to the main project, 18 area realty associations hosted their own projects all over central Ohio.
