Flex Full CMA Gets a Facelift: New Design, Charts, Now Generates PDF

On May 30, Flexmls CMAs will have a new look and several improvements. The changes will include: New Design– the new format includes larger text, photos, and maps; New Charts – two new Price Analysis charts are available: List, Sold and Adjusted Prices and Low, Average, Median and High Prices; Automatic PDF – to ensure optimized appearance for printing and emailing, the CMAs will be automatically created as PDF files when possible.

Central Ohio Housing Report - April 2017

Home prices are rising in central Ohio due to increased buyer presence and lack of inventory. Low inventory is also responsible for the dip in April home sales.

Can You Prove You Presented That Offer?

Article 1 is the single most often cited article from NAR's Code of Ethics in ethics complaints filed with your local REALTOR® association. It clearly lays out the REALTOR'S® pledge to protect and promote the interests of their client as well as their obligation to treat all parties honestly.  The Code of Ethics goes on to say that offers and counter-offers must be presented objectively and as quickly as possible, and that the listing REALTOR® must continue to present offers and counter-offers until closing unless the seller has waived this obligation in writing.

Columbus and Knox County REALTORS® Form Key Box and MLS Reciprocity

This week the Knox County Board of REALTORS® and Columbus REALTORS® formed an agreement to make electronic key box and MLS services available to each other’s subscribers under a reciprocity agreement advantageous to the members of both associations.

An Update on MLS Listing Syndication

As was detailed in a March 15 post to members, the Columbus and Central Ohio Regional MLS has a long-standing policy that the only destinations to which member listing data is sent in total for public display is Realtor.com and to members’ websites for use in IDX display.

March 2017 central Ohio home sales were up 51 percent over February and up four percent from a year ago - the highest number of home sales on record for the month of March as well as the 1st quarter.
