Connecting 373 of the brightest stars in the real estate industry together, the 2015 Foundation Wine Tasting was once again a huge success, raising a total of $15,620.00 to benefit the Columbus REALTORS® Foundation!

The Foundation Fundraising committee, known for hosting the event at different locations each year, hosted this year’s tasting on a sunny March 12th, at The Vue in downtown Columbus. Located in the heart of the city’s historic brewery district, The Vue successfully blends modern design with the traditional beauty of Columbus historical architecture, to create one of the city’s largest & most exciting event spaces.

Sipping on a selection of 6 wines, handpicked by experts of the fundraising committee, supporters also noshed on scrumptious hors devours (including a decadent crepe station), while networking with fellow industry leaders.

Event attendees had multiple opportunities to support the Foundation throughout the evening, including a competitive silent auction & exciting Brown Bag Cork Raffle, which featured 30 disguised bottles of wine, ranging in value from $10-$120! A big congratulation’s goes out to Ron Beitel of Red Brick Mortgage, who was the big winner of the evening, taking home 4 floor passes to see country’s hottest stars preform at the highly anticipated Buckeye Country Superfest, on Saturday, June 20th at the Ohio Stadium (a $550+ value!).

In addition to our donors, the committee would like to send a special thank you to each of the 29 company sponsors, 10 Area Association supporters, and numerous silent auction donors who supported the event. These contributions went to covering event costs, allowing 100% of the proceeds from tickets sales and event activities to go directly to the Foundation, and its four areas of focus: Benevolence Fund, Community Grants, Educational Scholarships, and REALTOR® Care Day.
