MLS - New Format for MLS Book

Approved by the Board of Directors 11-19-03

In order to control the rising cost of the residential MLS books, the page format will change from 9-up listings on a page to 12-up listings on a page.  In order to accommodate the smaller size card and photo, certain fields were selected to be removed and others to be retained.  Although at press time these data fields were not finalized, following were the recommendations.

Remove - area; square foot source; parish; education; county; map codes; zip and the heading line under price that identifies rooms (up, down and lower level).

Retained - taxes, lot size, acres, garage, basement, ac, possession, yr blt, and if possible, assessments and fireplace.
