MLS-No Identification in Remarks or on MLS Photos

Please do not enter names, phone numbers, web site addresses, company slogans or any language that infers identification of a company or individual in the remarks’ section or on photos of listings.  To help prevent entry of non-member names and phone numbers from appearing in the MLS, the remarks’ section of listings shall contain only property specific information regarding the property listed for sale. This also prevents this data from appearing in searches not intended for displaying such information (e.g., buyer reports emailed to clients).

The MLS Committee has authorized staff to automatically remove language found contrary to this policy.  You are encouraged to report needed corrections on any listing when discovered. For a complete review of this and all other MLS polices, please visit MLS Rules and Regulations.
