Jim Hildenbrand, Jim Hildenbrand Realty, have been awarded SWACO’s (Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio) Volunteerism Award. This award is presented to volunteer entities or persons that consistently help in the achievement of SWACO’s mission to provide a comprehensive, environmentally sound cost effective reliable solid waste management program for all people who live and work within our Solid Waste District. The Columbus Board of REALTORS® was also recognized with the Smart Partner Recognition Award.

Jim Hilz has been named the new Executive Director of the Building Industry Association of central Ohio (BIA) replacing Tom Hart who left in October to be the government relations manager of Dominion Homes. Jim is a well rounded association management veteran who has demonstrated a solid track record of lobbying expertise during his term with the Ohio Association of REALTORS®.

Eric Levy, formerly with the Gilbert Group, has joined Columbus Commercial Realty – Cushman & Wakefield Alliance.

Dick Royer, Kohr, Royer, Griffith, has received the 33rd Degree from the Scottish Rite Free Masons. The 33rd Degree is conferred upon select members who have shown outstanding contributions to their communities.

Ronda L. Sullivan, formerly of LandAmerica Lawyers Title, has recently joined Stewart Title as a sales representative.

Helayne Bromberg, agent with HER Real Living, passed away on November 19, 2003.  Mrs. Bromberg was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Ohio University, and was a member of Congregation Tifereth Israel and Temple Israel. She worked as social worker with Methodist Children’s Home, and was owner and operator of World Furniture for many years before becoming a REALTOR® in 1985 with HER. She will be dearly missed by family and co-workers.
