Broker/Manager Day
On October 8, eighty-eight brokers and managers attended CBR’s annual Broker/Manager Day.  The event included updates on the Board, MLS and upcoming Keypad Conversion, followed by a legal issues class taught by OAR’s Peg Ritenour.  As is customary, Peg provided excellent information on the latest issues including status of the new residential property disclosure form, agency, new hire law and the Do Not Call rules.  Thanks to the Broker/Manager Day Task Force:  Bob Miller, Lynda long, Gary Parson, Chris Pedon and Lucy Hadley.

Bruce Dooley, President of Dooley & Company, has been awarded the Daniel M. Galbreath Award for his support of cancer research. The award is presented by the Ohio Cancer Associates to an individual, organization, or company that has played an integral role in the mobilization of research, prevention, and health care in the mission to eradicate cancer. Bruce has been a volunteer and Campaign Board Member of Ohio Cancer Associates for 17 years. He received the award at the Annual Turkey Hop Walk for Breast and Prostate Cancer Research on October 12.

Charlotte Phipps recently joined HER Real Living’s Newark office.  Prior to coming to HER, she was as sales associate with Lawler Real Estate.
