New Residential Property Disclosure Form Should be available in October
The Division of Real Estate will follow a two-step process in publicizing the revised Residential Property Disclosure Form and in requiring that it be placed in use.
It’s projected that the revisions will be fully approved no later than mid-October. Licensees may begin using the form at their discretion after that time. However, the effective date for mandatory use of the form will be January 1, 2004.
Please keep this time frame in mind as you continue to use existing supplies of the form. If you find that you need to print additional quantities in the near future, you should print no more than is necessary to take you to the end of this year.
New Construction Buyer Registration Form now available on-line
Years ago, the Builder/REALTOR® Alliance Committee (BRAC) in conjunction with the BIA developed a brochure and registration form outlining basic procedures to help enable the Builder and REALTOR® to work in partnership from introduction and registration to contract closing.
The brochure and registration form, recognized by many Central Ohio builders, has been redesigned so it could be incorporated into the Professional Computer Forms (PCF) on-line forms package. Members who have purchased this package should be able to use this form as it is expected to be available in early October.
The New Construction Buyer Registration Form is also available (in regular pdf format) on the New Builds page of our web site. Click here to view/print the form. |
