Mary Linda’s work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central Ohio is near and dear to her heart. For five years she has served as a facilitator between the children, their families and the foundation -- helping to grant the wishes of children diagnosed with life threatening illnessess. For Mary Linda, seeing the zest the children have for living life to its fullest and teaching us what’s important in life is the reward gained from working with this Foundation.
After each closing, Mary Linda also makes a monetary contribution in the names of her sellers or buyers, whom seem to love this in lieu of a closing gift.
Since its inception in 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® has enriched the lives of 97,000 children worldwide with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work.
A network of more than 25,000 volunteers serving as wish granters, fund raisers, special events assistants and in numerous other capacities enable the Make-A-Wish Foundation to serve children.
