Pay your dues on-line

CBR is currently in its final stage of beta testing new functionality which will allow members to pay your dues on-line. This option is expected to be available in mid May.

“It Pays to Work with a REALTOR®” brochure

NAR’s new REALTOR VIP Publication, “It Pays to Work with a REALTOR®”, is an excellent presentation piece for REALTORS® to give to consumers. This brochure provides essential information on why it’s important for today’s homebuyers and sellers to work with a REALTOR® and what the key differences are between a REALTOR® and a real estate licensee who isn’t a REALTOR®. It also spells out the kinds of services a REALTOR® can provide to both buyers and sellers.

Quantity discounts are available: one pack of 100 brochures for $45, two to 10 packs for $40 each, eleven or more packs for $35 each. (Note: no

Two Buzzes = Low Battery

(Replace your SuperKey batteries)

If your SuperKey is emitting two buzzes, you need to replace your batteries.

Before replacing batteries, turn SuperKey off: Press the green START button followed by the KEY button. To remove the battery door, press down firmly on the arrows and slide the door off.

If you remove the battery and do not press START and KEY, the SuperKey can reset itself to 12:00 a.m. As the boxes are programmed to allow entry only between 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time) in the wintertime and, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (Daylight Savings Time) in the summer, your key -- if it reset to 12:00 a.m. -- may not work.

Residential Forms

The CBR residential Purchase Contract is currently under revision and should be released later this year. Per member feedback, the font size for the following forms has been increased. (This is the only change to the forms.)

• Buyer’s Request to Remedy Unsatisfactory Conditions (2 pgs)

• Exclusive Buyer Representation Agreement (3 pages)

• Notice of Intent to Release Deposit (1 page)

• Waiver of Contingency (1 page)

Printed CBR forms are sold in pads of 50. Cost per pad is: 1 page - $4/pad; 2 pages (printed front/back) - $5/pad; forms exceeding two pages will be discounted – call the C BR Member Service Center for pricing. On-line and printed versions should be available mid May.

Commercial Forms

As the last revision occurred in 1995, it should come as no surprise that significant changes were made to the Industrial – Investment – Commercial Real Estate Purchase Contract. The size of the new contracts will now be 8.5" x 11" making it a 5-page contract. Cost for the printed forms will be $12.50 for the 3-pad set. On-line and printed versions should be available mid May. When available, a packet of the new forms will be sent to all CI brokers.
