Real Estate Weekly

The Real Estate Weekly Publishing Board is responsible for overseeing the management of the Real Estate Weekly by the Columbus Dispatch. We also have a responsibility of promoting member use of this outstanding advertising vehicle. And to that end, I have a little advice to offer…

TALKING
POINTS

To those of you who are advertising in the Real Estate Weekly (and you know who you are), I commend you. Your wise choice is both cost efficient and effective. Here's some of the comments you've written…
“Affordable”
“Works better than the Suburban News Press”
“Huge response, works better than any other magazine out there”
“More exposure, more sales & more listings than any other publication out there”
“Columbus Dispatch artists design effective ads” (and this is FREE of charge!)

To those of you who are not currently advertising in the Real Estate Weekly (and you know who you are) – What are you thinking! The Real Estate Weekly…
• is published every 2 weeks – not once a month – this means it's fresh, not outdated
• has a distribution of 32,000 to 523 locations! – higher than every other competitor – IF you can get them to tell you how many they distribute and to where.
• has a 98 percent pickup rate – the best around – again IF you can get the competition to provide this documentation.
• Provides a FREE full color cover to 26x contract advertisers – NONE of our competitors do this
• Includes a complete list of ALL new MLS listings in every publication – NONE of our competitors do this either!
• Is larger – that means your ad is larger – that means they can see it AND read it!

FACTOR THIS

Let's say you're an annual advertiser wanting 4-color ads...

1. If you buy a half-page ad in Real Estate Weekly, you get almost the same amount of ad space as a full page ad in the Homes Illustrated. But there's one exception — you SAVE 12 percent if you use the Real Estate Weekly!

2) Your half page ad in the Real Estate Weekly is 52 percent larger than a full page in the New Homes Guide. Again, there's a catch...Real Estate Weekly only cost about one-third of what you would pay for the same size ad in the New Homes Guide.

So...what are you waiting for? Call your Real Estate Weekly representative (or Joyce Logan 461-5160) today and starting spending your money more wisely!

Columbus Dispatch tour

We were recently guests of the Columbus Dispatch for a tour of the plant. It was quite amazing! We were able to watch the Real Estate Weekly as it was being printed.

Although a little difficult to see, this one of 13 robots which transport rolls of paper.

Standing in front of one of the printing presses.
