April 2002 - CBR Tempo MLS Updates l

We hope you are enjoying your new CBR Tempo system!

As we move into the springtime, March and April have traditionally been the highest volume new listing months for MLS. Your CBR Tempo system is now over 90 days of age and is prepared for this event. We continue to make every effort to bring new and improved residential and commercial functionality to the system almost on a daily basis to help you with the upcoming busy real estate season.
Your MLS Committee has requested that you be kept apprised of all changes and plans for your CBR Tempo system and we begin that process with the items noted:

Updates
Prospecting function should now be fully operational including the ability to view AND print more than 99 properties.

Morning and afternoon training classes for CBR Tempo have been created through May to better meet your schedule.

There is no longer staff review of agent uploaded media (photos and virtual tours you load for your listings) ... please remember however, the photos entered must always primarily show the property that is listed and that you must remember to always set a PRIMARY photo.

You are now welcome to add up to 256 character descriptions to each photo ... however, please remember the wording must not include any reference to self-identity, URLs, phone numbers etc. This functionality is offered through edit media on CBR Tempo.

Researching...
Staff is currently contacting local auditors in an effort to bring you direct connectivity to real estate parcels from the CBR Tempo system rather than simply going to a selected county auditor's site.

Staff is currently testing a GIS mapping product offered by MarketLinx that will allow you to add properties on a map similar to the Navigate product you had with MAESTRO. If successful in testing, this new mapping functionality could be available on your CBR Tempo system as early as April 2002.

Coming Soon...
Archive information for listings transferred from MAESTRO to CBR TEMPO. Historical data for listings prior to the conversion will be transferred to CBR Tempo once programming is completed.

CMA enhancement to provide three properties in a column with photo. Addition of sale price, sale date and DOM added to buyer reports.

CBR Tempo Report Editor ... a drag ‘n drop report utility that allows you to design your own report templates (flyers)

Activity Report ... A statistical report that computes listing activity for selected areas and categories for a specific time period

The ability to print (not populate with data initially) all your MLS forms making them available for you whenever you need them.

But that's not all...
We have mentioned only a few of the changes made to your CBR Tempo system and those expected to be available soon. A more complete list is planned for CBR's web site. We will attempt to announce the projected availability dates if they can be determined by MarketLinx for expected changes to your CBR Tempo system so that you can plan your real estate activities accordingly. The CI-MLS Committee (commercial) is also working to bring you exciting new changes to the CBR Tempo system and we will include those announcements for you, too.

CBR Tempo Classes
We continue to encourage all users to take advantage of the classes that are being offered that provide hands-on training in a high-tech computer lab environment at CBR. There are three levels of training on CBR Tempo for the beginner to the more advanced user and each class (which is free unless you want CE credit) almost guarantees an increase in system knowledge. Remember that a class manual is available on the free disk (some are still available) you received during the pre-conversion classes ... please see the education insert for more details.

• All classes are 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
• All classes are held in the CBR Computer Lab.
• Each class has been approved for 3 hours of continuing education credit.
• Tuition for each class is $30, if the CE credit is desired. A VISA or MasterCard credit card number must be given at the time of registration in order to reserve a place, regardless if CE credit is desired or not. If CE credit is not desired, then your credit card will not be charged.
• Space is limited to the first 15 paid registrants.
