Donna Stevenson, Northwest Title

Donna Stevenson serves on the Board of Directors of New Directions Career Center -- a non-profit agency in central Ohio dedicated solely to providing quality career development services to women, especially the economically disadvantaged, so that they can attain meaningful employment and economic self-sufficiency.The Center has been in existence for 29 years and takes a holistic approach to career development; focusing on helping their clients discover long-term solutions for economic success.

Donna has been involved with the Center for 7 years and has recently been elected to serve as the Center's president in 2010.  In her tenure with the Center, Donna has been a member of the executive committee and, for the past couple of years, has co-chaired the Center's major fundraising event, which helps provide the funding for the Center's training programs.

Donna says, "I got involved with the New Directions Career Center because I really feel that it serves the city of Columbus by helping people who would otherwise be on public assistance become productive, self-sufficient citizens. If enough people would just open their wallets and give only $250 to the Circle of Friends Scholarship we can help enrich the lives of so many more central Ohio women and their families."
