REALTOR® Care Day - June 5, 2008

REALTORS® give back to their communities year-round through personal investment of time and funds.

REALTOR® Care Day is an opportunity for members to work collectively to improve housing in our communities. From cleaning up a main corridor or local park to making repairs/improvements for a rental community or deserving homeowner, this effort improves the living conditions, increases the value of homeownership and enhances the community for all. 

The fourth annual REALTOR® Care Day is set for Thursday, June 5, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and is your opportunity to celebrate National Homeownership Month by participating in a worthwhile community service project.

CBR Main Project - American Addition 
American Addition (Joyce & Woodford Avenues) is a Columbus Housing Partnership project. The Community Center (Tray Lee Center) was originally a fire station but now offers the "No Child Left Behind" program and is funded totally on donations. Although we will be providing learning supplies and interior window valences and carpeting, the bulk of the work will occur outside with painting, landscaping and extensive property cleanup, tree trimming, landfill, mulching, etc. We'll also be providing a new entry, design courtesy of The Edge Group.
