Member Services : Awards Programs : Spotlight on Community Service : Thomas Ketterer, Real Living HER Thomas Ketterer, Real Living HER Tom has been a volunteer with the Columbus Recreation Committee and the Airport golf course for several years. During that same time period, he has served in the unpaid positions as vice chair of the Whitehall Planning Commission and for the past three years served as vice chair of the "Pride of Whitehall" committee -- a community development/clean-up campaign. In order to fund outdoor playground equipment for St. Phillip's School in Columbus, Tom took 10 percent of each of his checks for almost two years to fund the $22,000 needed. Tom says, "I have been helped along the way by many others. In gratitude, I try to give back to my community and to be helpful to others whenever and wherever I can."
