Chris Anderson, RE/MAX Premier Choice, has been elected 2008 President of the Council of Residential Specialists' Ohio Chapter, a not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS®. As Chapter President, Chris will manage the chapter's activities and act as a liaison between his regional vice president and the national council based in Chicago.

Sandy Campbell has recently joined RE/MAX Impact sales team. Sandy has been a REALTOR® since 1977 and received her Brokers license in 1984. She has served 2 three year terms as a CBR Director, is a member of the 25 Million Dollar Club, was the 2004 CBR Salesperson of the Year, and is a Charter Member of the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Kenneth Isenbarger, Continental Realty, Ltd., has been awarded the SIOR (specialist, industrial and office real estate) designation. This designation is awarded by the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS® and represents a professional symbol of the highest level of knowledge, production, and ethics in the real estate industry.

Seven CBR members were awarded the 2007 Volunteer Service Award for their commitment and involvement to working in the community and in the industry. Janet Lacey has joined RE/MAX Impact. Janet has been a full time REALTOR® since 1986. She has served on CBR's Grievance Committee and is now looking forward to serving on the Professional Standards Committee this year.

Vicki Owens, ABR, CRS, GRI, Andy & Associates, REALTORS®, was recently awarded the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation, which is earned by completing advanced courses and demonstrating professional expertise in the field of residential real estate. The CRS designation is awarded by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Council of Residential Specialists.

Jaime Welch and Jason Davis have transferred to RE/MAX Consultant Group in New Albany.

The Tri-County Realty Association was recently awarded the Pickaway Area Chamber of Commerce's annual award for community involvement for their charitable contributions and their work on the Pisgah Cemetery during REALTOR® Care Day. Fairfield Federal is the sponsor of this award.

In Memoriam


Hubert Prince Cushman Jr.,
of Dublin, Ohio, left this earth in the presence of loved ones on Monday, December 17, 2007. He was a former sales associate with Century 21 Joe Walker & Associates REALTOR® and broker/owner of several companies in Coshocton and Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from Tufts University (Delta Tau Delta) and attended graduate school at Dartmouth. He served in Berlin and in the states as a security investigator and Russian Interpreter with the US Army. He is a past President of Ohio Commercial REALTORS® Exchange Association, member of The Mayflower Society and other genealogical and veterans organizations. Bert is survived by 6 children, 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, special friend and companion, Charlotte Rhoades, and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Charles D. Scott III, Columbus, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 23, 2008, at Regency Manor. Chuck was the broker/owner of Scott Q Realty, a Deacon at the Triedstone Baptist Church, a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force and a Pilot during the Persian Gulf War. He was an active member of several professional and community organizations, including the Columbus Realtist Association, Toastmasters International, Urban Boy Scouts, and of Tuskegee Alumni Club. Deacon Scott is survived by his wife, Maria Scott; mother, Margaret Scott, Selma, AL; children, Charles D. (Anjoli) Scott IV, Nia Scott, and Carver Scott; sister, Margaret (Grady) Broadnax; and a host of other relatives and friends.
