Edythe "Edie" James, Keller Williams Capital Partners

Edie has been generously sharing her time with MAP (Material Assistant Provider) Furniture Bank as a volunteer and community ambassador for nearly two years. This nonprofit organization provides free furniture and household appliances to Central Ohio families living in empty houses. MAP clients are referrals from local churches, social service agencies and other not-forprofit organizations.

In her capacity as Chairperson of Keller Williams Capital Partners Cares, Edie partnered with MAP, "the only free furniture bank in Central Ohio", to host a furniture drive. Two times per year, the furniture drive has been a great way to help area families donate gently used household items to the MAP organization which in turn, makes the donations available to those families in need. Through her efforts and enthusiastic support of this project, the furniture drive has been a great success with plans to continue in the future.

Edie says, "To me, selling real estate is more than just selling homes. It's about giving back to our community. I began the charity group at Keller Williams Capital Partners Realty in hopes of helping those in need in our community and the MAP furniture drive is just one of the many programs we organize.
