Top August Fine:
Blank or Incorrect information in the Tax District Field!
For the month of August the top violation was blank or incorrect information in the tax district field. The policy states required data entry items appear in red on the data sheets (worksheets) and must be completed accurately using resources provided or available. Entering zeros to bypass a required entry data field is prohibited if the information is available from outside resources or MLS references provided including but not limited to Realist, area atlas, auditor records etc. This violation has a one-time warning associated with it. After the first warning, if the violation is committed again, there is an immediate fine.
There are a couple different places the tax district information can be found. The first resource is the County Auditor. If the auditor has a website you can find the tax district on the website once you have pulled up the property. As well you can call the auditor's office and they are able to pull that information up for you.
Another resource is Realist. In Realist you can pull up the property, under the Tax Information section, you will see on the right hand side Tax District Number. That is what will need to be entered into MLS as the tax district.

To login to this section your license number is the login and your password is the same password used for CBR TempoTM. Pinpoint Mapping
October 17 2-4pm l November 6 10am -- Noon l $20 l 2 credit hrs.
This class will cover features such as: Aerial "fly over" maps; Searching with the "polygon tool"; creating driving directions with just a click of a button; click any parcel on the map to see the tax and MLS data about that parcel.
Palm OS Treo
October 18 l November 29 l 9:00 -- 11:00 a.m. l $20 l 2 credit hrs.
Topics covered will include: General Treo tips and tricks, navigating within the Palm OS, and recommended practices for Palm OS-based device owners. Students should have a basic understanding of how to use a Palm OS handheld (not Windows Mobile), basic Internet navigation, and understand the real estate industry.
TempoTM Wireless
October 18 l November 29 l 11:30 a.m. -- 12:30 p.m. l $10 l 1 credit hr.
Topics covered will include: Using CBR TEMPOTM Wireless on a handheld device to Quick Search, MLS # Search, Roster Search, and contrasting the features of Tempo Wireless and Supra eKey Pro. Students should have a basic familiarity with a Palm OS handheld, Windows Mobile, Blackberry, or other cell phone or smart phone with an unlimited data plan, basic knowledge of Internet navigation. All devices must have an HTML browser in order to be compatible with Tempo Wireless.
Required: Prior to attending class, you must register for TempoTM Wireless at wireless.columbusrealtors.com/register. This site will get you registered for TempoTM Wireless only, not for the TempoTM Wireless class.
Realist.com

Realist is a full featured, Web-based public record service that integrates with our CBR Tempo system with public record features, including property data and transaction histories, CMA reports, farming lists, parcel maps, street maps, and flood maps. Tuition is payable at the door, however, reservations are necessary.
