Gary Anderson, GRI, Rockford Homes Realty

Gary Anderson has worked with various Catholic and other charitable organizations, currently holding a seat on the Board of Directors of the Ohio Right to Life Society and a program director position with the Ohio State Council of the Knights of Columbus. The Knights of Columbus s an international Catholic men's fraternal benefit society that was formed in 1881 to provide mutual aid and assistance to sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Programs include educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief, and public relief works.

Anderson is the immediate past president of the Columbus Right to Life Society and was recently a member of the board of trustees of Mater Dei Academy, a small private Catholic school for grades k-8 in Columbus.

Gary also has served as a board member of the St. John Learning Center, serving disadvantaged people on the near east side by providing literacy and life skills education, has been a volunteer worker at the Holy Family Soup Kitchen on W. Broad St, is a regular financial supporter of both the Mid Ohio and Southeast Ohio Regional Food Banks, and is a lector at St. Patrick Church in downtown Columbus.

On being involved in these projects, Gary says, "It's all about making a positive impact on society. My faith compels me to give back to those less fortunate in thanksgiving for the many gifts I have received from our good God. I believe we are all called to make a positive difference in the lives of others."
