Scott Street

Scott Street, for the past four years, has been awarding $500 scholarships each year to two Upper Arlington High School seniors who "Think Outside the Box!" Recipients of this scholarship must create and implement a unique project.

A few of the "Out of the Box" winning projects have included a student traveling to the Fiji Islands to design and build an irrigation system; a student hosting a charitable rock concert with the proceeds going to various charities; and a student coordinating the clean-up of an entire street. Scott says,

"Our commitment to providing scholarships to deserving Upper Arlington High School seniors comes from a desire to give back to our community. Our affiliation with Sotheby's International Realty fits perfectly with its company's business philosophy of being unique and different. Thus far, the company has contributed $8,000 towards scholarships."

The scholarships are awarded once a year at a ceremony held during an assembly prior to graduation. Scott always graciously contributes and participates in the ceremony.
