Our rookie of the year began his career only 18 months ago, but managed to bring in a total gross of over $12.7 million in 2006 alone. After graduating from Upper Arlington High School, Andy Mills graduated from Kenyon College with a degree in Psychology and was a four year starter on the football team and member of the track and lacrosse teams. Although tempted by real estate at that time, he decided to begin his career at Klein Associates in Dayton where he managed $7 million dollars worth of projects for the United States Marine Corps, Air Force, Navy and Army. His research focused on improving high stakes decision for teams in intensive care units to ambush situations in the battlefield. However, the pull of home and real estate as well as the ambition to grow his career brought him back to Columbus where he began working at Continental Realty. The $5.7 million he netted the company in 2006 and his current pursuit of his CCIM is proof of his affinity for this business. But his interests extend beyond real estate. Andy loves working with kids. He is assistant football coach at Hastings Middle School, a member of Children's Hospital Development Board and its Large Donor Chair for the Woody Hayes Golf Classic. And he has also published a children's book called Shapesville based on body image research he did in college. |
