HER Real Living recently earned Luxury Real Estate's "Most Innovative Marketing Technique" award for MyRealLiving 2.0, the company's integrative property search portal, which was launched earlier this year. The contest is part of the 11th Annual Luxury Real Estate Membership Conference that was held in Chicago. Susan Mullenix was recently named co-manager along with JoAnn Hall with HER Real Living's Arlington office. Mullenix previously served as Hall's assistant manager. Richard "Dick" Wood passed away after a prolonged illness on Monday, December 11, 2006. He was the principal broker for W and W Real Estate Services and a graduate of Bexley High School and of Denison University (B.Sc.). He held two masters degrees from The Ohio State University in nuclear physics and nuclear engineering. Dick's careers were varied and included teaching physics at The Ohio State University and Capital University; founding director and treasurer of The Columbus Travel Bureau; and founding Executive Director of The Ohio Program in the Humanities. He loved music and served as Chair of the Conductor's Committee of The Columbus Symphony Orchestra, President of Columbus Light Opera and sang bass in the choir of Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church in Naples. Dick served on the Vestry of St. Alban's Episcopal Church, The Board of Trustees of the Friends of WOSU, and was a former chair of Institutional Racism Project - The Episcopal Diocese of Southern Ohio. He also was a member of The Forum in Naples, The Club Pelican Bay, Columbus Country Club, The Capital Club, Columbus Maennerchor, Crichton Club, and the St. Alban's Episcopal Church. Dick is survived by his wife, Janice Minton Wood; son, Harris Richard Wood (Jennifer); daughter, Louise Wood Shields (Tom); four step-daughters, Cathryn M. Green (Jeffrey), Elizabeth Minton-Myers (Brian), Cynthia M. Gwilliams (Kevin) and Christina M. Hall (Timothy); 14 grandchildren; brother, David S. (Judy) Wood and a host of other relatives and friends.
