Skip Weiler, Jr., The Robert Weiler Company, has been awarded a 2006 REALTOR® Commercial Alliance National Award. Skip was among a select group of individuals recognized for their outstanding professional achievements in commercial real estate.

Wayne Asmus has joined Rj Boll Realty, Ltd., a commercial brokerage. Prior to coming to this company, he spent the last three years at Realty Finance Management, which managed and leased the industrial and office portfolio of New York-based Apollo Realty Finance Company.

Christopher Salomone has joined Grubb & Ellis/Adena Realty Advisors after four years operating on his own. He will serve as a senior associate for Adena Realty's investment group and will also be involved in leasing retail properties.

Kristy Daniel has joined Colliers Turley Martin Tucker Company and will serve as a second vice president of office brokerage services. Prior to joining this firm, she worked briefly for Equity. She began her career with CB Richard Ellis, Inc., where she worked for six years.

Jim Boeckman has also joined Colliers Turley Martin Tucker and will work in the office's retail group as a tenant representative for several merchants, including Ashley Furniture Homestore, Donato's Pizzeria and Lifestyle Communities. Prior to joining this firm, he worked most recently with The Robert Weiler Company.

The Independent Brokers Association (IBA) recently elected the following members to serve on its 2007 leadership team: Ted Oatts, Worthington Realty, president; Connie Salts, S.A.L.T. Realty, vice president; Michelle McCormick, Clifford, REALTORS®, secretary; and Marilee Snider, Spot Snider Realty, treasurer.

The Building Industry Association recently held its annual awards and recognized Schottenstein Real Estate Group as the Developer of the Year and Stewart Title as Outstanding Subcontractor of the Year.

HER Real Living has opened 11 satellite offices of top-producing agents/teams: Canal Winchester with Terry Jordan; Delaware with Donna Travis; another Delaware office with Heather Kamman; Dublin with Amy Conley and John Francis; Gahanna with Helen Nilsson; German Village with Marilyn Vutech and Jeff Ruff; Grove City with Rachel Casto; Hilliard with Susan Wainfor; Pickerington with Jim Reitano; Plain City with Barbara George; and the Short North with James Meyer and Stephen Dial. There are plans to open six to 10 more by the end of the 2007.
