Chris Close

Chris Close, Coldwell Banker King Thompson, has been actively involved in the Dublin Community for several years having served as president for the Dublin Foundation where she help raise and distribute money to 531(c)(3) agencies in need of funding to implement programming. She also has helped raise funds for the Dublin Counseling Center.

As a Dublin Rotary member, Chris is involved in providing services and fundraising for many international and national organizations as well as volunteering for many Dublin Community events, including the Ducky Derby held each year in September as a fundraiser for the Dublin Counseling Center.

Chris is also a member of the Philanthropic Board for the new Dublin Methodist Hospital set to open in 2007. She has served on the Dublin Chamber of Commerce and on the Dublin Visitors Bureau. She distributes communion in nursing homes and performs communion services to residents in retirement homes.

Chris says, "I`m committed to giving back to the Dublin Community and has continued to be involved in planning and participating in community activities for the past 25 years. I'm a strong believer in giving back to my church, the community and the schools, and this is why I volunteer my time."
