2005 Largest C/I Transaction

John Hall
CB Richard Ellis

Randy Stephens
Colliers Turley Martin Tucker

Our largest C/I Transaction award goes to John Hall and Randy Stephens for their part in the sale of a 506,836-square-foot, Class A office building situated on 62 acres in Easton. The three-story Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corporation building was developed by Georgetown in two phases in 1998 and 2001.

JPMorgan Chase, the parent company of the tenant, Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corporation, purchased the property for $90 million on August 29, 2005.

For a sale of this size, primary owner, Georgetown Company hired Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, a New York firm to initiate a national search. However, due to their previous successful dealings with Columbus Commercial Realty, Georgetown asked this firm to work jointly with CCR where John & Randy worked at the time.

According to area statistics, the sale of Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corporation building is the largest sale in Central Ohio since 2000 and sets a new per square-foot sales record of $200 per square foot for Central Ohio.

Columbus Commercial Realty was purchased by CB Richard Ellis in October 2005. John stayed with CB Richard Ellis and since then, Randy has joined Colliers Turley Martin Tucker.
