Matt Murtha has joined Columbus Commercial Realty as a vice president. He brings with him 30 years of experience in the Columbus real estate market and was most recently employed with National Realty. Matt will be working in partnership with Senior Vice President Randy Stephens on both landlord and tenant assignments.

The Truberry Group and Bob Webb Group, Inc., will work together to develop a section of Glenross, a new golf course community in Delaware County. They plan to build more than 100 homes at the Reserve at Glenross, site of the 2005 Parade of Homes.

Larry Press has accepted a position as Vice President of Business Development and Branch Underwriting Counsel for First American Title. In this role, Larry will work to increase First American's regional market share among the real estate and lending community as well as serve as a legal resource for the local staff. His experience as a title attorney spans 23 years, during which time he has worked for both national and regional title underwriters, as well as several locally-owned title insurance agencies.

In Memoriam

John Elsbree, real estate appraiser and broker, passed away on Friday, August 19th, 2005 at The Ohio State University Medical Center. John is a long-time member of the Columbus Board of REALTORS® and a Veteran of WW II, where he was a member of the 12th Armored Division, a recipient of the Purple Heart and Combat Infantry Medal and a German POW. He also was a member of St. John The Baptist Italian Catholic Church and the American Society of Appraisers. John is preceded in death by his loving wife Lena (Albanese) Elsbree and is survived by daughter, Phyllis (William) Nightingale; sons, Richard (Betty) Van Atta, and John C. Elsbree; 5 grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren; and several special friends. Friends if they wish may contribute in John's Memory to St. John's Memorial Fund.

Nellie M. Wolfe, a retired REALTOR®, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2005 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. After 25 years, Nellie retired from real estate in 2003. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, active in the Reynoldsburg Senior Center, and was a member of various bridge clubs. Nellie is preceded in death by her husband, Richard, her parents, and two brothers. Survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Rosalind and Ernst Tegeler of California; and many other nieces and nephews and friends.

Joseph Dominic Rosati, former owner of ABN Realty, which merged with HER Real Living in 1990, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at St. Ann's Hospital. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict, was involved in the Rosati family grocery business and was a life member and past president of the Westerville Sertoma. He also was a member of the St. Thomas Aquinas Alumni, Grocers Bowling League, and a past member Knights of Columbus. Joseph was the owner of the Stoner House (Historic Landmark) and an avid Pilot. Joseph is preceded in death by his parents Angelo and Antonia Rosati and sister Mary Ann Rogers. Survived by his Loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Dee (DiMenna); children, Michael and Kathy Rosati, Michele and Bill Morgan, SueAnn Rosati and Dennis Hoffman, Annette and Pat Wright, Denise Rosati, Jodi and Bill Dawson, Renee and Jason Bouwman; and numerous other family members and friends.

Bertram Metzger, a retired REALTOR®, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at the Village of Westerville. Bert was proud of his family and his long career in real estate. He was one of the first inductee's into the Real Estate Millionaires Club. As a former dairy and cattle farmer, he cherished this earth and respected all of God's creations. Bert was a long time former member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Mary Catholic Church in Delaware and currently St. Paul Catholic Church in Westerville. He will be greatly missed by his children, Judy Miracle (Fiance', Dan Snyder), Bruce Miracle, Greg (Kathy) Metzger, Frank (Marjean) Metzger, Patti (Jeff) Thompson; grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
