Service to Members

Bringing needed services, both personal and professional, to members of the Columbus Board of REALTORS® is the primary goal of the Member Services Committee. The committee is continually on the look out for ways to make the life of the REALTOR® just a little easier. Its operation can be broken down into three specific areas.

Preferred Vendor List

The committee reviews proposals from various businesses and service providers, and makes recommendations for those programs that it feels will be of value and service to the members. These cover everything from personal needs, such as insurance, disability income protection, and credit unions to professional needs such as closing gifts and marketing tools, and business communications. In each issue of the In Contract magazine there is a page dedicated to listing the preferred providers and their contact information. In addition, two of the providers are highlighted in each issue. We encourage you to contact these providers to take advantage of the special programs and discounts that have been arranged. During the past year many new programs have been added and the current providers are being revisited and updated.

CBR Member Service Center

The store is located off the lobby of the Columbus Board and is open daily to provide for your immediate needs. Here you can find forms, advertising materials, and other supplies needed for your day to day business operation. Within the last two years the store has under gone a complete renovation both of its set-up and supplies. There is a constant effort to keep on hand the supplies that are most needed by members. Please stop by the store, see what is available, and give us your suggestions for new products that we should stock.

CBR Print Shop. The print shop is located in the basement of the Columbus Board and is a fully equipped printing facility. There is also a graphic designer (Nate Huber) on hand to assist you in developing your printed marketing materials. The idea here is to help provide for any and all printing needs. These range from business cards to advertising flyers to post cards and mailers. Quality work at a competitive price in a one-stop location is the goal. Long considered one of the best-kept secrets of the Columbus Board, its use has increased over the last year as members discover the high quality work and quick turn around time. Check it out for yourself.

Bringing service to members is not just a goal, but a plan of action for the Member Services Committee. Thank you goes out to the members of this committee for their efforts on behalf of CBR members. They are a tireless group who continually have the best interests of the members in mind. Also, special thanks to Corey Skinner, our staff liaison, for his efforts on our behalf.
