Submit to Real Estate Weekly A new button "Submit to Real Estate Weekly" appeared in May on the `Save' screen when adding a new listing and has prompted many calls from members. This new feature allows you to advertise your new listing on the `New Listings' pages of CBR's Real Estate Weekly homes publication. Cost is $75 for two issues and $125 for four issues. (The Real Estate Weekly is published every two weeks.) Note: Clicking on this button will not automatically bill you or obligate you to advertise your listing. MLS info auto populates the screen, except for the photo which you will need to upload. You will need to add your headline and copy as well as select how many issues you want to advertise in (2 or 4). You will also need to supply credit card information. So, go ahead - click on "Submit to Real Estate Weekly" and check it out! | | MLS Residential Book Price Increased Despite efforts to maintain affordability, MLS book subscriptions have continued to decline while inventory has increased significantly. Therefore, it was necessary to increase the cost of the residential book from $15 (including tax) to $19 (including tax) effective July 1, 2005. There is no change in the price of the COMMERCIAL publication. Status of the new CIE The C/I MLS Committee continues to pursue the creation of a Commercial Information Exchange (CIE). A draft agreement was being reviewed at press time. The system will offer a commercial listing and information data exchange available to participants and their licensees that subscribe to the CIE. It is also planned that limited commercial data will be available on a public web site through ColumbusRealtors.com. Cost is expected to be just over $660 annually. |
New MLS Area - Indian Lake Region (ILR) Logan County
Indian Lake of Logan County has been added as a new area - ILR - in your CBR TEMPOTM MLS. This new area includes zip codes 43348, 43331, 43310, 43324 and 43333, formerly part of area OH1. ILR is now a selection option in the drop down menu for area choices on the CBR MLS TEMPO system. ILR area properties will appear in the section after Union County and before Clark County in the Residential MLS book. The new Indian Lake Region (ILR) appears in the upper left hand corner of the Logan county map found in your CBR Atlas on page 73.
Staff converted all properties in the MLS that had those zip codes on 6/23/05 when the new area became effective. If you have a property listed in this area, and have not yet reviewed it, please do so to confirm accuracy.
