Sarah Eagleson

Sarah Eagleson serves as a board member for the Capital Area Humane Society (CAHS) -- a seat she does not take lightly.

The emphasis of CAHS' work is against cruelty to animals. Research shows a direct link between cruelty to animals and human abuse.

CAHS shelters thousands of animals each year, responds to more than 6,000 requests for animal cruelty investigations and places nearly 95% of adoptable animals.

Since CAHS is not publicly supported, it is vital that funds are raised to help implement its programming. Sarah supports the Society not only by personal contributions, but also by volunteering time, and sponsoring and soliciting sponsors for The Paws In the Park, one of the largest fund raising events for the Society.

Sarah says, "Come to the Capital Area Humane Society, discover unconditional love, and go home with a new Friend."

Sarah also sits on the Board of ProMusica Chamber Orchestra, Boy Scouts of America, Simon Kenton Council and on the Assisting Board of the Childhood League Center. She volunteers for Upper Arlington Schools, the Junior League of Columbus and has been a Foster Parent with Franklin County Children's Services.
