Affiliate Dues Increase for 2005
the first in 10 years!

Affiliate Liaison Committee
This year our Affiliate Liaison Committee was a diverse group, which helped as we recruited more affiliate members, both corporate and individual.
In an effort to promote the benefits of CBR membership, we surveyed the affiliate membership to learn of its use of the many services and products the CBR offers. Through this research, we are now able to focus on strengthening the promotion of several products and services including the printing services, and use of meeting rooms at the CBR Membership Headquarters.
Further, this research revealed a need for a dues increase - the first for this membership category in ten years. This increase, approved by the Board of Directors to be implemented for the 2005 dues billing is as follows:
Corporate Affiliate - $295 ($20 increase)
Sustaining - $175 ($25 increase)
- The current annual dues amount of $50 will remain the same for the Individual Affiliate membership.
- The current application fee of $125 would remain the same for the Corporate Affiliate, Individual Affiliate and Sustaining memberships.
Our committee also kept affiliate members informed about the importance of supporting CORPAC as we prepared a brochure containing testimonials from affiliate members who are strong supporters of CORPAC.
Currently, our committee is putting the finishing touches on the November 16, 2004 Annual Affiliate Appreciation Breakfast. This popular event provides the CBR leadership an opportunity to say thanks for the services these affiliate companies provide to the REALTOR® membership with the record pace of real estate transactions we have experienced over this past year and the continued support the affiliate membership provides to CBR and the area realty associations.
I had an exciting year chairing the CBR Affiliate Liaison Committee and encourage all Affiliate and Sustaining members to consider becoming involved with this committee.
