The theme for this year’s REALTOR® Expo is ‘Changes in Attitudes’ as members explore new and better ways to improve your productivity and provide enhanced real estate services to your clients and customers. The REALTOR® Expo is held from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. immediately following the Annual Business Meeting. With 113 vendors, you’ll have your work cut out for you visiting all the booths. Here are some tips to help you make the most of your two hours... First and foremost - Wear comfortable shoes! You don’t want to waste time giving your feet a rest when you only have two hours to visit. Plus, with 113 vendors, there isn’t much free area to sit and relax. Speaking of how to dress, this year, the Sales Advisory Committee is encouraging members to ‘dress the theme’. This means sandals, brightly colored shirts, shorts, etc. - have some fun with the ‘Margarita Ville’ atmosphere. Bring lots of business cards - Many vendors offer drawing for fun and exciting prizes. Travel light - Leave the briefcase in the car. Just bring what you’ll need for the two hours. You’ll want your hands free to greet people, fill out prize drawing forms, and examine products tha you find interesting. Arrive on time - With only two hours, arriving ‘fashionable late’ can significantly impact your browsing and networking time. Consider which companies you’ll want to visit - Below is a vendor list as of this printing. Browse through the companies listed and identify those you’ll want to be certain to visit. Mark those you currently work with if you’d like to stop and say ‘hi’ and/or to meet the ‘voice on the phone’.
Next mark those whose services you have interest in learning more about. One of the most valuable benefits of a trade fair such as this one is the opportunity to meet with knowledgeable personnel who can answer your technical and purchasing questions.
