Coldwell Banker King Thompson recently acquired Residential One of Ohio, Inc. This agreement gives Coldwell Banker eight new central Ohio residential real estate offices and one commercial office located in Gahanna. With this new acquisition, Coldwell Banker will have 980 sales associates and 23 offices in central Ohio.  Joanne Figge, previous broker of Prudential Residential One has been named branch office manager of Coldwell Banker King Thompson’s New Albany office.

Prospect Bank announced today the opening of its fourth location in central Ohio, a Dublin branch office conveniently located in the Perimeter Center just off Avery Road/Muirfield Drive next to Giant Eagle.

Randy Berry has been promoted to Chicago Title's vice president, chief administration officer for the State of Ohio. With more than 26 years experience in management, Randy will be responsible for financial analyses, audit and regulatory compliance, banking administration and other statewide administrative functions.

HER Real Living recently opened its first "Office of the Future" prototype in Marysville, Ohio, at 1041 North Maple. The new 6,447 square-foot facility features the Real Living Room, the Café, a spacious courtyard and ample, open workspace that can also be used by local community organizations for meetings and get-togethers. Bob McCarthy is the office manager.

Carleton Dargusch has joined Columbus Commercial Realty’s (CCR) retail brokerage team after two years with Grandview Heights-based Wagenbrenner Cos. Dargusch will work with CCR Senior Associate Kevin James in representing regional retailers and landlords for the Cushman & Wakefield affiliate.

HER Real Living has been ranked 1st in the C.E.O. Leaderboard list of residential real estate agencies, published by Columbus C.E.O magazine.  Ranking is based on 2003 Greater Columbus listings, total transactions, average price of homes sold and highest priced home sold.

In Memoriam

Dale Hall Palmer, age 86, Real Estate Broker and Co-founder of the Multiple Listing Service, passed away Monday, August 9, 2004 of a heart attack. Palmer, a long-time member of the Columbus Board of REALTORS®, where he served as chair of the Ethics Committee, also produced the first Real Estate Show. For 60 years, he served as a member of York Lodge #563 and is a past president and an active board member of the Senior Golf Association at York Golf Course. Hall was preceded in death by daughter Lynne Palmer and is survived by his wife Marilyn, daughter Nancy, and three grandchildren, Adam Pettigrew, Sara (Jose Gaudalupe) Tellez and Emily Pettigrew.
