Ways to Give.....It's Easy!You can contribute to the REALTOR® Foundation Fund through any of the following: · Planned Giving and Bequests - By naming the REALTOR® Foundation Fund in a new or existing life insurance policy, for the small cost of annual premiums you can leave a legacy with major impact on our Foundation Fund mission. A bequest to the fund from your estate also can have a major lasting impact. · Endowed Scholarships - The fund can invest your gift and the interest will be used to provide a scholarship in your or a loved one's name, in perpetuity. · In Kind Gifts - Gifts of real estate are an obvious gift option, but stock, bonds, autos, etc. may also be gifted to the fund. The REALTOR® Foundation Fund can receive practically any asset of value. Foundation Fund Advisory Board SubcommitteesCBR's Foundation Fund Advisory Board, which oversees management of the fund, has four subcommittees to help accomplish objectives necessary to maintaining a successful fund. Members-at-large are urged to volunteer to serve on the following committees:
The mission of the Columbus Board of REALTORS® Foundation Fund is to support real estate related programs and entities whose goals are to improve the overall real estate environment in Central Ohio. The REALTOR® Foundation Fund has tax-deductible charitable status, providing a way for the real estate industry to pool resources and have a positive impact on Central Ohio housing. In 1991, the CBR established this Field of Interest Fund in partnership with the Columbus Foundation. With charitable status under Section 501c(3) of the IRS code, gifts qualify the donor to federal, state, estate and/or gift tax deductions. Contributors are advised to consult legal or tax counsel concerning their own tax situation.
