Carol Bell, RE/MAX Associates Realty, is currently serving a three-year commitment on the Board of Deacons at the Central College Presbyterian Church. This Board participates in projects that serve the church and the community. Their largest project is the Adopt-A-Family program during the holidays, where they provide gifts to more than 600 children annually. They also give more than 500 food baskets at Thanksgiving and 600 food baskets at Christmas.
Through the Board of Deacons, Carol participates in American Red Cross Blood drives and, once a month, attends downtown churches to help with their weekly Bible Club, providing meals and reading to and playing with the children.
Carol has traveled to Honduras with medical and dental teams, where she worked with the dentists to provide fluoride treatments and tooth extractions for children and their parents who came from miles and miles away to see the dentist -- most had not seen a dentists in years.
Carol says, "She feels fortunate and blessed to be able to touch other peoples' lives. It makes me feel good knowing I have helped somebody. Putting a smile on someone's face who has been through times, warms my heart."
