Paula Koontz-Gilmour

Paula Koontz Gilmour, Coldwell Banker King Thompson, has been involved with Children’s Hospital’s Development Board since 1998, which is a Board comprised of a group of professionals whose work has evolved  from a “friend raising” arm of the Hospital to a more formalized board of volunteers from the local business community involved in fundraising for the hospital.

Through  this Board’s efforts, more than $500,000 is raised annually by hosting such events as the Woody Hayes Celebrity Golf Outing, Rock-n-Bowl and the Columbus Pizza Challenge. Paula has served on the executive committee of the Development Board and has held several leadership positions with the Board’s fundraisers.

Paula’s commitment to volunteering at Children’s Hospital comes from her desire to give back to the hospital for the kindness and support shown her family, stating, “When my brother was born, he was born cross-eyed and had to spend a lot of time at Children’s Hospital. By volunteering at the hospital, it is a small way for me to repay them for all that they have done for our family.”
