Lucy Tavener

Lucy Tavener, Key Properties, REALTORS®, turned 80 last year and she still has a
passion for life and for helping others.

She has been active in the Johnstown community and with the Johnstown Baptist Church for numerous years. She serves on the Board of the Licking Memorial Hospital, the Board of the Licking Alcoholism Prevention Program and on the Friends of the Library.

The sister of the late John Ashbrook, she was politically active and served as his secretary-treasurer during his successful campaigns for U.S. Representative from 1958 to 1982.

On her commitment to community service, Lucy says, "I don’t need any recognition for what I do. I do it because I love it. I love people, my community and my country. I do try to make a bit of difference to help others.
