CBR members who show properties listed with the Licking County Board will still need to call 1-800-844-7560 once a month according to the date on the back of their key to update. This update step is ONLY required when showing properties in Licking County. For complete details on this procedure contact the CBR Keybox Administrator Tammy Foor. Some D-keys have been experiencing contact problems. If the contacts of a lockbox are worn, it may be necessary to force the D-key snug against the contacts until the key container is released. You may find this to be especially true with older lockboxes. If after entering your pin code it appears that your D-key is “searching” (or just not responding), enter +1 to shut it off and then try to access again. Can’t read your D-Key in the dark? Press and hold the ENTER key to activate the back light feature. Some D-Key users have been experiencing failures due to “stuck buttons.” If you are having trouble with your D-Key, check all the keys to see if they may have slipped under the button openings. Running your fingernail over the keys will free them. Operation of your D-key should return to normal. D-Key users must use an analog phone to update. (FYI – Your fax line is analog.) If you’re already thinking about how to carry your Supra E-Key this summer without pockets, check out the new leather carriers in the Member Service Center. The first shipment proved to be quite popular. And, yes, without exception, everyone must now update everyday. With the continued support of the CBR Staff & Supra, I’m sure we’ll all become accustomed to this as we did with the last conversion. The Supra customer support number is 877-699-6787. They are available 7 days a week from 9:00 am-10:00 pm, EST. The best times to reach Supra Customer support is after 5:00 pm. Be sure to check out support on the Supra website at www.supraekey.com. If you have not already done so, sign up for email updates, and stay current on all the latest tips and support. eKEY battery goes dead overnight?!

Call Before Showing (CBS)Every KeyBox includes a Call Before Showing (CBS) code. The CBS code, when activated, allows the listing agent to control KeyBox access by requiring that the interested party call the listing agent to get the CBS code. Your keyboxes’ CBS Codes are printed on the same paperwork as your Shackle Codes. By default, all keyboxes are sold with the CBS code not active. However, be aware that displayKEYs used by CBR Affiliate/Sustaining members are programmed in such a way as to require a CBS code in addition to their PIN number to open keyboxes even when the CBS code is not active. If you choose to activate the CBS code feature on the keybox, then all REALTORS® will also have to enter a CBS code in addition to their PIN number to open keyboxes. FYI – The majority of REALTORS® in our area are not activating CBS codes on their keyboxes. However, you should still ask whether or not a CBS code will be required when calling to schedule a showing. Accessing a KeyBox using a CBS Code DisplayKEY
eKEY
Once your displayKEY or eKEY is activated with the CBS code for a particular KeyBox, release the key container as you would any other KeyBox. You can access this KeyBox until the listing agent changes the KeyBox or until you enter a CBS code for a different KeyBox. |
Affiliate and Sustaining Members can also lease a keypad from CBR. You will receive training when you get your keypad, including information on obtaining a “CBS Code” that is required for Affiliate/Sustaining Members to access keyboxes. The lease fee is the same - $106/year. If you are interested, contact CBR’s Keybox Administrator Tammy Foor at (614) 475-4000 x282.
