Tom Augustus, REALTOR® and Auctioneer with RE/MAX Associates Realty, Inc., is the recipient of the Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce 2003 Outstanding Businessperson of the Year Award. Tom has sold real estate in Westerville for thirty-nine years, developed several Westerville subdivisions and has owned and operated multiple real estate agencies in the Westerville area.

In Memoriam

Irving Eugene Schottenstein, Co-founder and Chairman of M/I Homes, Showcase Homes, M/I Financial and Wyandotte rental communities, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2004. He was a lifelong resident of Columbus, a long-time supporter of numerous community activities, and the recipient of numerous honors and awards. Scottenstein is survived by his wife of more than 50 years, Frances, four children, Gary, Robert, Linda and Steven.

The Bean Family would like to extend our deepest appreciation for your love, support and contributions at this very difficult time in our lives. Irene Eshleman, CPM®, Nationwide Insurance, has earned the Certified Property Manager of the Year Award in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the real estate management profession and to the local community. The recognition was given by the Columbus Chapter No.42 of IREM.

Deborah Pizzurro, Oakwood Management Co., and Robert Turrin, CB Richard Ellis, have been awarded the Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation. The CPM® is awarded by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) upon completion of IREM’s strict requirements in the areas of experience, education and ethical conduct.

Laura Miller, Columbus Commercial Realty, has recently been promoted to Senior Vice President by achieving a qualifying level of income, delivering consistent superior performance and fostering an exceptional level of client satisfaction.
