Key Exchange Follow up


The Key Exchange last month went very well.  Throughout the week, 3,629 CBR members came through the exchange – roughly 700 per day!  In addition to CBR staff, there were nine Supra employees and 70 temps on site to ensure a smooth transition. We’ve received many positive comments on the ease and efficiency of the exchange.  That’s due in great part to our members. Thank you for your positive attitude and cooperation!

So…Where are we now?

If you missed the exchange...
If you had to miss the exchange, please note that the old KIM system is no longer available for update codes and your current keypad will stop working on February 2, 2004.   All keypad exchanges must now be made at the CBR Membership Headquarters.  Please call for an appointment as there are a number of members coming in and the whole process takes 45 minutes to an hour.

If you need assistance...
As was anticipated, CBR is receiving a lot of calls about the new keypads. Although we have extra staff assisting with the call volume, return phone calls can take up to 3-4 hours. Here are alternative options:

If you experience a problem with any of your Supra equipment, call the Supra support line at 1-877-699-6787.  The support line is available 7 days a week from 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM.  Supra tells us the best time to call is 7-9pm, when call volume tends to be at its lowest.

you may be able to troubleshoot the problem with some basic instructions available on www.supraekey.com.  Look on the left side of the screen and you’ll find ‘eKEY Troubleshooting’ and ‘DisplayKEY Troubleshooting’.

The User Guide you received with your key is also a good reference for basic information, including how-to instructions for performing a manual eSYNC (page 12 of the DisplayKEY User Guide) or manually updating your DisplayKEY (pages 15-16 of the DisplayKEY User Guide).

Register your KeyBoxes on the KIM site
In order to fully utilize the Supra system, including receiving showing information, you must first register your KeyBoxes at the KIM website.  You need to know their serial numbers and shackle codes to register your keyboxes. 

When you register them, you may also assign listing IDs to each of your keyboxes.  This will allow listing addresses to appear on showing activity reports.

To register your keybox:

  1. Click here. (This link accesses the 'Log on to Kim' page on Supra's web site www.supraekey.com)
  2. Select “OH-Columbus Board of REALTORS®, OH" from the drop-down list of Associations.
  3. Login using your Key number and PIN code. 
  4. Select the ADD NEW KEYBOX link. 
  5. Follow the onscreen instructions to enter the serial numbers and shackle codes of your keyboxes.  If you’re assigning the keybox to a listing at this time, enter the listing ID for the address of the listing.

Each time you move a keybox to a new listing, be sure to change the listing ID on the KIM website. The address of the correct listing will then appear on showing activity reports.
