John Beegle, HER Real Living, has earned the Graduate REALTOR®’s Institute (GRI) designation from the Ohio Association of REALTORS®. Beegle successfully completed over 90 hours of classroom instruction on construction, sales & marketing, appraising, financing, negotiating and other current issues.
Angela and Joe Grywalsk , HER Real Living, have been awarded the Residential Relocation Specialist (RRS) designation, which recognizes specialized training in working with relocation buyers and marketing the city of Columbus.
Delaware Place, a 24-unit new residential project located on Delaware and 2nd Avenues in Victorian village, won the City of Columbus Office of Historic Preservation and the Victorian Village Commission’s Certificate of Excellence and Outstanding New Construction Award for best new construction in Victorian Village for 2003. The projects’ success was due to the collaborative effort of many people including Rockford Homes, Fred Rector and HER Real Living, Andrews Architects, National City Bank, the Columbus/Franklin County Affordable Housing Trust Corp. and Jim Maniace of Chester, Willcox and Saxbe.

In Memoriam
Todd J. Bean, a sales associate with HER Real Living, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2004 at Grant Medical Center as a result of an automobile accident. He had been a member of Columbus Board of REALTORS® since 1992 and was a member of the CBR 10 Million Dollar Sales Award Club. He enjoyed golfing, boating and his family. Todd is survived by his wife, Amy; son, Robert Paul and daughter, Anna Olympia; parents, Diana and Paul Bean; grandmother, Helen Wolfe; brothers, Michael (Laura), Stephen (Sue), Scott (Shelle); sisters, Debbie (Tim) Wynia and Susan (Chip) Bruss; mother and father-in-law, Robert and Mary Dellovade; and a host of other relatives and friends. Todd resided in Powell and was Member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
Hamer L. Coss passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2004 at OSU East Hospital. He had been a member of the Columbus Board REALTORS® for 55 years and was a veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by parents Ollie and Mary Coss, first wife Ruth Elizabeth “Betty” Coss, brother Lowell Coss. Hamer is survived by wife, June; sons, Roger (Gloria) and Richard Coss; granddaughters, Julie and Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Hannah and Will; brother, Thurman (Barbara) Coss; step-son, Don Schartzer. Hamer resided in Westerville.
Carlyle V. Perry Sr., founder of C.V. Perry & Co., died on Sunday, January 25, 2004 at his residence. He began his real estate career in 1947, was a member of the Columbus Board of REALTORS® for 53 years and remained active in real estate until his death. He is a WW II army veteran, having served in the 10th Mountain Division. Carlyle is survived by children, Carlyle V. Jr. and Lynda Perry, Marcia and Lennie Rhoades, Charles E. and Alexandra Perry, Ft. Collins, Colo.; grandchildren, Kathryn, Allison, Jeffrey, Wesley, Jacquelyn and Ava; very dear friend, Marcia Pendleton; and a host of other relatives and friends.
